Marantos have been a mainstay of our ‘takeaway’ life for years and so it is difficult to judge them on a one off. Only gave them four stars (as opposed to the five we normally give them) as there was an error in the order. But this was quickly sorted and corrected. Great takeaway, highly recommended.

Ordered online. Requested no salad on kebab… came with salad. Requested no mushrooms on pizza…came with mushrooms. Ordered popcorn chicken, as I have many times, normally comes with chips. No chips but same price as previously with chips. Don’t think we’ll be using again.

Ordered many times from here, through their preferred app too! And on this occasion they made a mistake with the order. A simple mistake, they forgot a pizza, no big deal. I called the restaurant to let them know, and believe it or not, I was yelled at! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing! Completely uncalled for. All I said was there has been a mistake, and before I could tell the guy why, he flew off the handle at me and put the phone down, after blaming the driver. About 20 minutes later, another guy called me back to confirm I’d not received all my order, and that it was sitting on the counter. He offered to refund me, and send me the missing items. Needless to say, I didn’t get the items nor the refund. Mistakes happen, it happens all the time. All I did was call and explain I was missing items, and because they’re less than 10 minutes away (less than a mile) I thought they’d be able to rectify it. I had the phone on loud speaker, and my daughters heard everything. Not the best service. Won’t be using this restaurant again that’s for sure. Gob smacked.
